Photography Samples
Photography is a fantastic form of creative expression because it allows me to showcase the world through my unique lens, figuratively and literally. It enables me to showcase the objects that capture my eye or playfully try new effects or angles. No two individuals see the world alike. So I find that it is a beautiful way to showcase a unique worldview while showcasing one's talents and creative abilities.
First Aid Beauty
I had the pleasure of working with First Aid Beauty in the Spring of 2020 as I created content for their FAB Aid Campaign that offered to pay off college students' loans. Given my social media audience, it was a good fit, and I also was excited to have my work posted on their Instagram page to their almost half a million followers.
Mask Shop
My entrepreneurial spirit and concern for my skincare as I struggled with "maskne", lead me to create my own handmade satin mask shop over lockdown. Creating photography to promote the masks was a fun creative exercise.
Film Photography
There is something so special about film photography. It may be because it goes against the overly processed and perfected direction photography has been moving in for several years. There is also something very nostalgic about the look and feel of the photos. The photos below are shot with a Canon EOS Rebel Ti camera and FUJIFILM FUJICOLOR SUPERICA X-TRA 400 35mm film.
Exploring Atlanta
I spent my formative college years in the heart of Atlanta, exploring all the creative startups and trying delicious food during my free time. It was only natural to capture beautiful spaces and moments in this city through photography, whether it be a cute restaurant set up, architecture, or spending the day taking portraits in a cool space with a friend.
New York City
I visited this lively city in the spring of 2019 for the first time and was instantly obsessed with the energy, eccentricity, and character of this globally famous place. It is always fun to use photography to capture places I travel to and capsulize moments I experience, and share them with others.
Los Angeles
Los Angeles is more than just a famous place you see in movies and on TV for me. There is something so nostalgic and sentimental about this place to me. I was born in a hospital on Sunset Boulevard and I think back to my early childhood days looking up to the mountains and being surrounded by so much art and culture. Anytime I get to go back and visit my siblings who still live over there, it is a huge refresh and place where I get a ton of inspiration. So, inevitably a lot of my favorite photography is taken in this special place.
